Thank you endlessly to all those who have helped us on our journey to raise $5000 for Simmons Cancer Institute!    We’ve had an incredible several weeks, and are almost to our goal!

Sj-R Interview!

We had the honor of being featured in SJ-R regarding our 50 state finish!  Dean Olsen met us at my Dad’s office for the interview, and we had a fun afternoon sharing our favorite stories- both medical and athletic.   Click on the story and the video!

Radio appearance

We were invited for a quick interview on 101.9 the Wolf with Dave and Deena!   We got to talk about why we are raising money for cancer research, and our journey to 50 states!

Best of Springfield

-Made the finals for Best Athlete (me) and Best Physician (dad) in the Illinois Times.  We were pretty excited to make both the papers!   

Chipotle Burrito night!  

Hosted a Chipotle Fundraiser in which Chipotle very generously donated 50% of all proceeds to our cause!   A total of $305.25 from a few hours a burrito eating! Thanks so much Chipotle!

SHG Jeans Day!

Sacred Heart Griffin (my high school, class of 2007 -WHOA) so incredibly hosted a Jeans Day in order to contribute to our fundraiser! We held the day in honor of Simon Cory and Sister Peggy, two amazing SHG family members who we have lost in the past few years to cancer.  We are so honored they held this day for us, and I know Sister Peggy and Mr. Cory are smiling down from all our efforts!
